We’re building the hour in the middle.
CounterMint is the dealer-controlled buy-side quote layer. Not a price guide, not a POS replacement, and not an autonomous buyer. Every number that reaches a customer is one you set the rules for and can override.
CounterMint™ is made by Roots No Limits LLC. It started from one observation: pricing a raw lot well is the hardest thing a coin shop does, and almost every shop still does it with a loupe, a notepad, and a spot price someone screenshotted an hour ago.
We are not building a point-of-sale system, an inventory system, or a marketplace. Other people do those well and we’d rather export to them cleanly than compete badly. We’re building the part in between — where a pile of raw coins becomes a number you can defend and a customer can accept from their kitchen table.
That’s also the deal behind the founding rate. Fifty shops, half price for life, and we build against what actually happens at your counter rather than what we imagine happens. You tell us a number is wrong; we go find out why.
mid-lot. Real shop, real coins.
CounterMint is built by Roots No Limits LLC — a small software company. It’s our current flagship B2B SaaS offering.

A collector at heart, a builder by trade.
I’m a collector at heart and a software builder by trade, and CounterMint is where those two parts of me finally met. I built it after liquidating part of my own collection.
Like many collectors, I arrived with expectations shaped by aspirational Online Marketplace asking prices — often from high-ranking power sellers — then spent weeks comparing offers, driving to shops an hour apart in opposite directions, and trying to decide whether a little more here or there was truly the better deal. By the time I had my comparisons, the market had moved, Shop B had become the better option, and I may have been better off accepting the first offer.
The problem wasn’t simply the number; it was the effort, uncertainty, and fragmented experience surrounding it.
That made me a natural fit to build CounterMint: I understand the collector’s attachment and uncertainty, the dealer’s need for speed and control, and how modern software and AI can do the heavy lifting without replacing human judgment. CounterMint is the experience I wish I’d had — clear, itemized, defensible, and easy to act on.
If you price raw lots for a living, we want to hear where this is wrong.
